Tasker is one of the best of the best Android app that I have ever seen, being a Android geek..!!
As far as my knowledge I can say that Tasker is one of the best of the best app in Android market.. The thing to wonder about is this is that the app is only 1.3MB and has the entire power to control your phone without demanding root..!!! Free download link of this app is below..!
Tasker lets you to take complete control on your phone.
You can create profiles, and make your mobile act according to the situation
Example I created a profile named Night mode:
Phone automatically goes to flight mode from night 12 to morning 5.
I created a profile named College mode:
It made my phone to go to silent mode only in my college time or in college premises using GPS.
I have another profile named Opera in which internet will be automatically enabled when I open Opera mini and disable when I exit it.. (You can make the same things for all apps or selected apps in your phone)
I have another profile named music
It makes my phone to launch Music app when earphone is plugged in
I also created a profile named Wifi. With the help of GPS, It made my phone to activate wifi only in my home, as my home has wifi. Like this you can control, schedule all the tasks, apps to run. You can set task to execute at time or date or state or even place (uses GPS)
